i could go on for quite a while on what i think about the current immigration situation. instead here is a case study that seems pretty black and white, but which the immigrants and associated community members can’t seem to understand.
an immigration activist was arrested after spending a year in a church. she was a twice-convicted illegal immigrant from mexico. she came out of hiding to campaign for immigration reform. the feds arrested her and are deporting her. end of story.
a couple of things:
shouldn’t the church be in trouble for harboring what is, in effect, a felon?
why should she have any campaigning power in a country that isn’t hers? why doesn’t she go back to mexico where she came from (illegally) and campaign for social reform there instead?
when the feds arrested her, a lady from federation of american immigration reform had that mind dumbing quote “Just because the woman has gone public and made an issue of the fact that she is defying law doesn’t mean the government doesn’t have to do its job”. yes. it does mean they have to do their job. it is their job, and they have to do it. when someone breaks the law, the government is expected by the american people to do it’s job.
i don’t understand what these people (illegal immigrants) think gives them the right to illegally come into this country, unwanted and unasked, and try to change our social infrastructure. this lady was campaigning to make it easier for more illegal immigrants to come to america. if america wanted more illegal immigrants, it would let them in. it doesn’t. america doesn’t want any more illegal immigrants. it’s all a matter of population growth. america doesn’t hate immigrants, it just can’t bear that many fucking people.
the following video is great. it’s not a matter of racism, it’s a matter of numbers. the american people, not the people in america, but the actual americans, don’t want so many illegal immigrants. and i’ll be damned if illegal immigrants, of all people, try to change this country. watch this:
