hey jacob,

i got it on shirt.woot.com, but unfortunately it isn't for sale anymore. they only sell a limited number of shirts at a time and only sell them as long as they're selling well. since this shirt is 2 years old, the sales tapered off and they discontinued production.

This video has been around for a long time (the accident happened on 2004-05-14), long enough that everyone should know by now that it is not an F-16, but a BAE Hawk. The accident occurred at CFB Moose Jaw, not at Tyndall AFB.

The instructor kept his voice cool, but he screwwed up. Pulled the nose way too high, so his airspeed went well below his best glide speed. He nearly stalled at the top of the zoom, and by the time they punched out, he had lost two thirds of the altitude he gained, because at that low a speed, the plane flies like a piano. Instead of staying on runway heading, where there is nothing but wheat fields for 500 miles, he turned TOWARDS the only populated area within 50 miles!

"No one hurt" is not correct. The instructor had his head down when he pulled the ejection handle, so he suffered spinal damage in the ejection. He is no longer allowed to fly ejection-seat aircraft as a result of his injuriy.
